You only have one chance to make the first impression!
There is no definitive guide to preparing a CV. Employers differ in opinion when asked to define the ‘perfect CV’. However, there are common guidelines which we can share with you based upon our experience of dealing with numerous hiring managers and HR contacts.
Create a winning CV
A strong CV is critical to your success as it determines whether or not you will be invited for interview. It’s an introduction to your capabilities and a window to your achievements and experience. It’s important therefore that you adopt a style that reflects you and is relevant to the role you are applying for.
When submitting your CV to a prospective employer, we make a point of keeping the content and general layout unchanged.
We simply transfer it into a logo bearing document and then convert it to a pdf file.
Potential employers often prefer to see your CV in its original style and format as it reflects your communication skills and personality. However, if you're short of ideas but want to get started, you can always use our CV template.
