J2784 - Our client is seeking a BDM, Block Discounting, to take their financing proposition to market, build relationships with customers and subsequently build and manage a strong block discounting portfolio. This will include formulating credit policy and customer metrics to identify customers, income expectations and pricing matrices.
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Flexible
Responsible for building and developing the UK Block Discounting Business.
Oversee and the launch of programme into the marketplace.
Create a Block Discounting credit policy.
Create metrics to build up a portfolio by identifying customers, income expectations and pricing matrices.
Develop the Block Discounting team and create and provide documentation and training.
You’ll need extensive experience of working within the Block Discounting market and a track record of delivering success against commercial targets.
Excellent Business Development skills.
Clear knowledge of Block Discounting market.
You’ll also have experience of writing detailed credit proposals with strong risk awareness and a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements.
Be able to open new block lines up to meet growth targets.
Work with the SLT/credit functions to ensure current policies and procedures are in line with the market and any changes that are/could be happening.
Deliver a blended yield that meets per shareholder return expectations.
We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Invoice Finance, Asset Finance or Leasing.
