Job description

​​J2823b - Our client is seeking a Risk Analyst & AML Officer. Your primary objective will be to control all relevant risk areas in a holistic way covering portfolio controlling, analysis and reporting. This is a hybrid role incorporating the role of AML officer of the company; performing and controlling all key aspects of AML related issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Control and management of holistic risk matters within business (all relevant risk areas including reporting of risks) .

  • Quality assurance, improvement and controlling of risks by reviewing files processed within all business processes .

  • Updating and implementing relevant HQ Policies and Procedures.

  • Prepare and update Early Warning System (EWS) Dashboard.

  • Report of Changes in Local Legislation and Regulations.

  • Organize & Facilitate Risk Management Committee.

  • Supporting Compliance Manager with various compliance tasks.

  • Identifies, monitors & reports All Operational Risks.

  • Set up procedures for new activities.

  • Keep up to date with regulatory requirements to ensure the companies adhere.

  • Keep staff informed of their obligations through annual / ad-hoc training sessions.

  • Complete reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure AML guidance / policies /processes as well as risk analysis are kept up to date.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • A Level, Tertiary qualification desirable .

  • Business or law school examination seen as a merit.

  • 5+ years of experience in credit risk / lending division of leasing company or other financial institution.

  • Ability to work with senior management within the business, the region and the group.

  • High analytical skills and ability to present the facts in professional manner.

  • AML work experience as well as compliance/regulatory tasks performance.

  • Strong MS Office skills, ability to work remotely.

  • Quality project management experience seen as merit (green belt, six sigma or similar).

  • European language skills e.g. German, an advantage.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
