J2847 - Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage customer, supplier and manufacturer accounts ensuring sales targets are met. You will also ensure stakeholders are offered an exceptional service and all business is processed within company policy.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Thames Valley / Berks (Hybrid working)
Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and develop proposals to address these needs.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with trends.
Create sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them.
Increase the profitability of the business by working towards sales targets.
Work closely with the marketing team to stay engaged with our customer base promoting existing and new products.
Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to create long lasting, profitable relationships.
Be an integral part of the diversifying of the business across varied asset types in new markets
Experience of business to business/dealer sales preferable.
Experience of business to business/ broker marketing preferable.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong customer/ dealer relationship skills.
An understanding of the asset finance market and a variety of assets.
Good written and numeracy skills.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
