​J3039 - Our client is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist (MI) reporting to the MI Manager to collaborate with the Business and Data Warehouse team to understand the data, create a meaningful insight, and build visualization. This should create an innovative dashboard to explain, engage and enlighten executive leadership when making data driven decisions. A junior individual who is well versed in using Tableau would also be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the user workshops to collect the dashboard/reporting requirements.

• Assist with the functional spec and working alongside the ETL developer to do the technical mapping exercise including RCA analysis, upgrade analysis of the SQl views.

• Articulate findings clearly and concisely, and create data driven content with unique narratives for target use cases, including through presentations, design solution, visualization.

• Comfortable with an iterative process to continuously improve data visualizations and design based on customer feedback.

• Solve data consumption and visualization through data.

• Conceptualize and deliver data visualization solutions solving complex business problems.

• Developing the dashboards to present the data and findings in simpler way.

• Complete administration of Tableau : managing the allocation of the licenses, user permission levels, data feed control, dashboard delivery managements etc.

• Managing the dashboard tool performance tuning.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• 7-10 years of experience working with enterprise level heterogeneous data environment and data visualization tools such as Tableau.

• Exposure to graphic design and visual data story telling.

• Strong data analysis skills particularly in the form of data manipulation and reporting in at least one of these (SAPBO4.X /COGNOS/SSRS/PowerBI/Qilkview/Tableau).

• Detail-oriented, organised, exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

• Good understanding of the relational databases RDBMS ,data warehouse , data marts, ETL  techniques.

• Good understanding of data management principles and data root cause analysis.

• Leasing domain knowledge (good to have, not a must).

• R programming and data modelling knowledge (Good to have).

• Tableau certified professional.

• Passion for story telling with data, ready for continuous changes and positive attitude.
