​J3080 - Our client is seeking a Chief Information Officer to lead its IT strategic direction. You will ensure that key systems, process development, IT and other Infrastructure across the business is fit for purpose, scalable, highly secured and aligned with business goals. You will also keep abreast of technology advancements and guide the business change teams in implementing transformative changes.

Salary: Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, South East England (Hybrid).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in collaboration with senior leadership to provide strategic input on the long term development of the business.

• Work closely with key stakeholders such as directors, managers and local/regional teams.

• Lead, project and communicate the business’ values and contribute to any operational discussions.

• Devise strategic direction of the Business Change and Infrastructure and MI/Reporting Functions in a manner to advance business objectives.

• Review and develop all current and future company systems and infrastructure to ensure the business has the necessary level of security and right technical architecture to meet its needs.

• Facilitate the budgetary control of IT systems and technology.

• Stay abreast of technology advancements and provide strategic input to directors and senior management to ensure beneficial developments in core systems and communications technology.

• Oversee the management of the relationships with all key systems and infrastructure suppliers.

• Ensure that the Business Change and Infrastructure teams are conducting the necessary reviews for each core supplier.

• Identify obsolete/legacy technology or applications and seek suitable replacements/upgrades focused on customer needs

• Overall responsibility for the functionality and maintenance of all key leasing systems through good communication, understanding and control of suppliers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Significant experience in IT including delivering business change projects.

• Extensive experience of leading and managing a technical team.

• Experience in leading and influencing stakeholders.

• Excellent knowledge of modern IT systems.

• Exceptional negotiation & Influencing Skills.

• Commercial awareness in a regulated environment.

• Knowledge and experience of leasing would be beneficial.

• Ability to communicate in a non-technical manner to senior management peers as well has possess the technical know-how to work closely with the change and IT teams.
