Job description

​J3082 - Our client is seeking a Payouts, Proposals and KYC Specialist to prepare and submit proposals for credit underwriting and ensuring all credit requirements are adhered to. You will also complete Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks on all approved customers in line with company policy.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 plus bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Greater London (Hybrid)


  • Ensure all new business proposals are processed in line with lending procedures and within service level agreement.

  • Ensure all approved new business proposals have Customer Due Diligence performed in line with policy with any relevant escalations made to Financial Crime and within service level agreement.

  • Work collaboratively with Financial Crime team to ensure that escalations are dealt with efficiently and within service level agreement.

  • Deputise for Supervisor where necessary and assist with quality assurance testing when required.

  • Challenge relevance of established business practices and display a solutions focused attitude to all problems faced.

  • Work with Sales, Credit and Brokers to achieve business objectives.

  • Systematically track workload daily, escalating any breaches to service level agreement.

  • Assisting the other Operational departments where needed to ensure the department is fully covered at all times.


  • A working knowledge of Asset Finance facilities, e.g. Hire Purchase and Finance Lease (Unit Stocking would be desirable).

  • High attention to detail.

  • A knowledge of Sentinel, Word and Excel and the ability to manipulate information databases.

  • Ability to work with figures, manually calculate where necessary and translate information into reports.

  • Ability to communicate accurately, both written and verbal.

  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure to tight timescales with attention to detail.

  • Team player.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
