J3620 – Software Sales Business Development Manager – UK, London / Home Counties (Remote) – Financial Services

​New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading financial services / lending software provider in its search for a Software Sales Account Executive.

Salary £80,000 – £120,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, London / Home Counties (Remote).

The Role

This is a high-impact new business role within a rapidly scaling fintech platform focused on asset finance and lending markets.

You will be responsible for driving net-new client acquisition, building pipeline from the ground up and delivering complex, consultative sales into asset finance and financial services organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure

  • Generate pipeline through outbound activity, networking and targeted campaigns

  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to senior decision-makers

  • Engage with asset finance and financial services organisations across the UK

  • Achieve and exceed new business revenue targets and KPIs

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM discipline (Salesforce)

  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support deal execution

Candidate Profile

  • Proven hunter profile with a strong track record of new business generation

  • Experience in SaaS/software sales OR traditional asset finance / leasing sales

  • Demonstrated success in complex, consultative sales environments

  • Strong pipeline creation and deal-closing capability

  • Confident engaging C-level stakeholders

  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven and target-focused

  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC) beneficial

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.

You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
