​​​J2743 - Our client is seeking a Structured Finance Operations Manager to lead and oversee the operation and control of bespoke and structured financial products introduced by the sales team. You will implement reliable operational frameworks that provide assurance that the business is operating in a safe and compliant manner whilst ensuring risk awareness and mitigation is an integral part of the structured finance operating procedures.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 plus excellent benefits and bonus. Location: UK, Gtr London / Surrey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience by proactively managing the supply chain.

• Provide leadership and management support to the New Business Team as required.

• Instigate processes, procedures and controls to ensure new structured finance business entered into is correctly and fully documented, and all relevant data is then accurately processed onto the systems.

• Ensure any post activation activities are managed and controlled.

• Advise and support sales team and new business operations team members with any documentational issues or deal structure queries.

• Take ownership of finding solutions that help secure business and meet customer expectations.

• Implement strategies that deliver excellent service levels and minimize operational risk.

• Contribute to appropriate risk led decisions on overall policy and the acceptability of documentation and payouts whilst avoiding direct financial losses.

• Responsible for the activation and second authorization of agreements and invoices within delegated authority limits, releasing correct funds to suppliers within agreed SLA’s.

• Research industry developments and new initiatives relating to new business operational activities and service levels; continuously review the financial offering against the wider market and customer / vendor expectations.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Knowledge of operational systems and process.

• Advanced understanding of financial services and asset finance.

• Knowledge of DPA, CCA, OFT, TCF, SOX, FCA CCD, KYC, AML.

• Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple stakeholders including supply chain.

• Knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

• A second European Language an advantage.

• Ability to create and implement and maintain a strong customer / structured finance offering.

• Ability to interpret the needs of the customer / vendor.

• Ability to read and interpret and comprehend bespoke documentation including framework contract agreements.

• Ability to understand structured products and solutions.
