​J2744 - Our client is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to assume responsibility for credit analysis of proposals to provide balanced, informed and reasoned commercial credit decisions based on relevant company and financial information. You will present credit underwriting packages to Credit Committees and support less experienced members of the team with guidance and knowledge.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus excellent benefits and bonus. Location: UK, W Mids. You may be home based for 2-3 days per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for preparation of documentation and the credit application flow to ensure accurate and timely processing of applications.

• Analyse standard, as well as non-standard and complex credit applications and verify credit data consistency.

• Take decisions consistent with approved credit policies, guidelines and procedures.

• Gather and compile data to ensure that sufficient information is available to senior decision makers.

• Communicate and negotiate directly with customers and dealers regarding credit deals within approved guidelines.

• Provide guidance to junior and less experienced Credit Analysts.

• Provides support to other areas of the business as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Experience in Financial services.

• Experience of Credit underwriting.

• Very good knowledge of financial services products.

• Very good knowledge of credit assessment.

• Strong analytical skills in relation to financial and company information.

• Strong decision making skills.

• Ability to negotiate with internal and external customers.
