​​​J2814 - Our client is seeking a European Programmes Account Manager to provide programme and account management for strategic vendor and wholesale vendor programmes across European markets including maintaining relationships with vendors and funding partners. You will also ensure the smooth running of existing programmes and contribute to the successful implementation of new programmes. You will manage individual credit proposals through to pay-out, securing Credit approvals and passing completed documentation to Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide innovative financial solutions to vendors and their customer base in particular through Vendor finance programs operated through 3rd party funding partners, offering end customer leasing facilities.

• Liaise with banking partners and Group companies across Europe to ensure the continuous development and improvement of existing programs.

• Act as the initial point of contact for all new vendors and customers.

• Act as an account manager and liaise with existing customers and finance partners to work through any new proposals, requests or issues.

• Work with the operations teams across the business to act as a point of contact for any issues where appropriate to ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner.

• Build and submit credit applications for larger value proposals in the agreed format and present in the credit committee.

• Analyse financial statements including their findings in credit submissions and/or proposals, and be able to confidently discuss their findings.

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience

• Assist in the development of products needed to meet the needs of customers including pricing and structure of the program.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Educated to degree level ideally in a related discipline i.e. Business Studies, Economics, Finance .

• Experience of working in a corporate sales environment within the leasing industry, with roles that covered working with customers of varying nationalities.

• 10 years of Financial Services experience; knowledge and understanding of the financial services environment.

• International experience is fundamental.

• You will excel at building relationships.

• Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple stakeholders including supply chain.

• Flexible in approach and eager to learn and take on a variety of tasks.

• Understanding of vendor finance programs and risk sharing structures.

• European language skills, though not a prerequisite would be advantageous (especially French, German and Italian).

• Although Amsterdam is the preferred location, applicants based in the UK will also be considered.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
