Job description

​J2857 - Our client is seeking a Channel Business Development Manager, ICT Finance to focus on the acquisition and development of new partner relationships with particular attention to the recruitment and development of finance opportunities originating from large value resellers. You will be key in managing the strategy, growth and direction of this business.

Salary: Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, S Eng (Remote)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, scope, prioritise and target potential key Channel resellers.

  • Develop a prospect list and identify prospective Channel resellers, developing and executing a prospect plan.

  • Use your existing network to open doors to targeted prospects.

  • Develop new business with prospects with no prior contact.

  • Develop inspirational reseller relevant value propositions within existing price, policy, product and service parameters.

  • Manage complex and structured accounts and work collaboratively with credit team, legal, operations and other internal functions.

  • Build deep, long lasting and sustainable partnerships.

  • Preparing and present documentation for review in credit and risk approval committees.

  • Understand, track, measure and manage the size of your pipeline and sales activity in order to achieve budget.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Good experience in ICT Channel Reseller asset finance industry or have worked directly for large Channel resellers, Technology Distributors or Technology Vendors.

  • Strong knowledge of the Channel Reseller market.

  • Track record of building and developing scalable and sustainable long term new business relationships with confidence, tenacity and attention to detail that has led to considerable new business volumes.

  • Strong influencer and excellent in (remote) stakeholder management, able to effectively navigate on all organisational levels.

  • Strong change leader with robust negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent business English (both spoken and written).

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
