​J2958 - Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager (Direct) due to the expansion of their portfolio in the UK. You will be an expert in equipment leasing with responsibility for delivering against the expectations and interests of stakeholders, by growing the leasing portfolio on a direct sales basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grow the leasing portfolio on a direct (to customer) basis to achieve a blend of targets including revenue, profit, balance sheet growth, portfolio mix, risk and costs.

• Acquire new customers, originate and execute new transactions within the risk profile mandate.

• Complete and submit credit proposals on a timely manner.

• Day to day management of the regional portfolio; including presenting proposals to Credit Committee.

• Maintain the relationships with internal functions and the wider stakeholders base.

• Work independently as well as part of a deal team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Asset Finance and Leasing expertise.

• Knowledge of market products.

• Ability to generate leads.

• Credibility and gravitas to represent the business in a professional manner.

• Highly motivated and ambitious.

• Good/strong Risk knowledge.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
