Job description

​J3104 - New Leaf Search has partnered with the financial services arm of a prestigious global technology company in their search for a Finance Manager. The role involves having oversight of the flexible payments finance team, whereby you will working alongside the Head of Financial Control. You will have responsibility for ensuring all activity is in-line with the company's strategy to support growth from each Vendor and Business. A key element of the role will be managing all external funder relationships within agreed regulatory mandates.

Salary: Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Ideally South East England / South West England (Remote / Hybrid)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monthly Reporting aligned to group finance deadlines.

  • Budget and Forecast Reporting aligned to group finance deadlines.

  • Monthly Reporting and analysis of portfolio performance to identify areas of improvement / risk.

  • Delivery of statutory accounts against deadlines.

  • Delivery of all VAT and Tax reports against reporting targets.

  • Management of profit and loss against budget reporting.

  • Satisfaction of third-party funders which can be measured by their desire and willingness to fund our portfolio moving forward.

  • Manage all external funder relationships for the company.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

  • 10 years + working in finance management roles, including responsibility for month / year end for multiple entities.

  • Working knowledge of lending environment.

  • Experience of leading cross functional, international teams.

  • Ability to operate at a senior level, develop and present business case / analysis.

  • Ability to switch mindset and activity from tactical to strategic.

  • Team-player, initiating cross functional collaboration.

  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to reach consensus.

  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with complex models.

  • Ability to use standard software: MS Office Applications & Database software.

  • Willingness to travel in the UK and Europe to meet with Funders and customers.

  • Background in financial services preferred.

  • BI, Xero and Hyperion use would be an advantage.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
