K3056 - Our client is seeking a Head of Vendor Sales. This is a player / manager role, primarily focused on the delivery and execution of an agreed business plan. The key element of the role is to provide support and management of a high-performing vendor sales business. Although focus will be on managing the existing team, it is expected that you will also deliver a personal contribution to performance.
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 plus excellent uncapped bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Birmingham / Midlands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the vendor team on a day-to-day basis.
Support the vendor team in pricing and programmes for vendor partners.
Provide direction to the vendor team in targeting new potential introducers.
Deliver, and in some cases, produce training collateral to provide to the team.
Work with marketing to produce appropriate message for vendor partners as well as identify opportunities to promote the brand to new vendors.
Identify high performing salespeople as recruitment targets.
Work with potential new vendors to on-board them.
Deliver a personal contribution to the sales performance.
Responsible for the overall vendor sales performance.
Run incentives with existing and new vendor partners to drive growth.
Deliver vendor sales updates in sales meetings.
Identify and report to Group Commercial Director on potential vendor opportunities.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Minimum 10 years in asset finance.
Minimum 5 years in management.
Experience in remote management desirable.
Prior experience in developing a vendor portfolio and / or vendor programmes.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
