K3071 - Our client is seeking a highly motivated, results orientated Internal Vendor Account Manager to support their ‘Driving Clean Air’ financial assistance programmes. Working with business customers to provide guidance on the financial assistance options available to support the upgrade of their non-compliant vehicles in line with the programme objective of improved air quality.

Respond to incoming customer enquiries in a timely and efficient manner providing accurate guidance on the appropriate scheme rules and available financial support options based on the individual customers circumstances.
Make outbound calls to customers that have passed initial Local Authority eligibility checks to discuss their vehicle acquisition plans and to offer support/guidance with moving forward with their vehicle upgrade.
Provide lease quotations where the customer wishes to proceed with financial assistance.
Deliver an excellent customer experience in line with service level agreements with local authorities to secure opportunities where the customer elects to proceed with a financial support option.
Maintain regular contact with local known dealerships to understand their stock levels and vehicle availability to assist customers’ demands as they arise.
Review the current order pipeline to ensure accurate and timely pay-out forecasting.
Take initiative on presenting complex cases to Local Authorities in a concise manner for their review/approval sharing relevant learnings with the team.
Maintain contact with customers to discuss and service their other financing needs with particular focus on green assets.
Support other functions to ensure that the Programme runs efficiently and is viewed positively across the business e.g. working with the finance team to resolve queries on monthly local authority data tape reports.
Work closely with the Operations and Credit team to agree activity to maximise the conversion of applications.
Ideally experience of working in a financial services environment with experience of asset finance / leasing.
Vehicle finance experience preferable but not essential.
Degree educated or equivalent.
Confident, approachable, personable and a good telephone manner.
Strong commercial mindset with clear understanding of how to maximise opportunity and close deals quickly in line with customer expectations and the programme service level agreement – especially relevant on multi-vehicle and larger opportunities.
Organised and able to use customer relationship management system for managing high numbers of live opportunities ensuring all are actioned and followed up in a timely and consistent manner.
Attention to detail critical with likelihood of working across a number of different Clean Air Zone Programmes with unique parameters and guidelines applicable to each.
Able to self-motivate and use initiative to work pipeline through to completion and fill quieter periods of incoming enquiries with outgoing calls to Dealers and Customers.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
