Job description

K3092 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a rapidly growing European Vendor Finance provider in their search for a Change Delivery Manager. You will participate and contribute to the delivery of change portfolio and future business growth plans and be responsible for specific projects, delivering systems and significant process change for specific Teams or the wider business. As well as evaluating and prioritising projects based on the value to the business and customers, you will ensure projects align to overall business strategies and regulatory requirements.

Salary: Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Greater London / Surrey (Hybrid).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively promote and adhere to corporate governance regimes and ensure effective processes and working environment are in place to manage and minimise risk.

  • Lead requirements, implementation, and testing activities for allocated projects.

  • Adopt a hands-on approach to support activities as appropriate.

  • Run regular Project Management meetings (including Project Board Meetings and specific Project Update Meetings with Business Users)

  • Leverage communication and relationship building skills to illicit real requirements from business and support engagement with Change and Change initiatives.

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, controlling, and reporting activities for specific projects, ensuring that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained, and issues are actively managed through to their successful resolution

  • Deliver effective communication to all interested parties including stakeholders and Senior Leaders to support effective decision-making, provide project status updates, and manage the smooth and integrated delivery of projects.

  • Maintain regular Change portfolio reporting – budgeting, priorities, delivery plans

  • Determine, monitor and review all elements of the project, including costs, staffing requirements, project resources, and project risk, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements, supported by appropriate reporting. Delivering initiatives with agreed timescales.

  • Contribute to meaningful business cases/proposals and ensure that the projects remain on target to enable the achievement of declared business benefits.

  • To keep up to date with innovation and technology and make recommendations to introduce what is appropriate and will improve business data and analytics capabilities with a focus on self-serve solutions wherever possible.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Using structured Project Management methodologies and controls.

  • Drafting and maintaining project plans and project documents.

  • Knowledge and understanding of working and dealing directly multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of IT system change processes, configuration and information/data management systems and controls.

  • Proven record of understanding business requirements and translating these into technical deliverables.

  • Experience working with software engineers and other analysts to define data and process requirements.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
