K3106 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a prestigious global asset finance company in their search for a Business Development Manager. The role involves leveraging your existing knowledge, experience and contacts to grow their direct (route to market) proposition and customer base across the UK.
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: United Kingdom (Flexible location) (Remote)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a prospect list and identify prospective customers, developing and executing a prospect plan to gain new clients.
Be part of a highly networked international matrix environment.
Use your creativity and structuring knowledge to develop customer relevant solutions including non-interest income solutions.
Manage complex and structured accounts and you will work collaboratively with our risk team and other internal functions.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop any identified opportunities.
Use your experience and finely honed relationship building capability at senior levels in organisations to build long lasting partnerships with the company.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
5 - 15 years’ asset finance industry, mainly in mid-large corporate.
Proven track record of building new business.
Excellent risk assessment skills.
Strong team player with a good attitude and growth mindset.
Solid influencer and excellent in (remote) stakeholder management, able to effectively navigate on all organisational levels.
Strong change leader with robust negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent business English (both spoken and written).
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for financial service industry preferred.
Be comfortable preparing and presenting documentation for review in credit and risk approval committees.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
