K3117 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a global finance partner for equipment and technology assets in their search for a Business Development Manager, IT Finance. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the key stages of developing and managing partner relationships within the IT channel in order to achieve agreed sales objectives.

Salary: Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Southern England (Remote)


  • Identify, scope, prioritise and target potential key Channel resellers.

  • Develop a prospect list and identifying prospective Channel resellers and execute a prospect plan.

  • Use existing network to 'open doors' of known prospects.

  • Use your sales skills and business development acumen to 'open doors' of target prospects.

  • Develop reseller relevant value propositions within the parameters of the company's existing prices, polices, products and services.

  • Manage complex and structured accounts and work collaboratively with credit, legal, operations and other internal functions.

  • Build senior executive level relationships within the channel to build deep, long lasting and sustainable partnerships.

  • Prepare and present documentation for review in credit and risk approval committees.

  • Understand, track, measure and manage the size of your pipeline in order to achieve your objectives.


  • A minimum of 5 years' Channel Reseller asset finance experience.

  • or have worked directly for large Channel resellers.

  • or have worked for Technology Distributor or Technology Vendor with knowledge of the Channel Reseller market.

  • A strong track record of building and developing scalable and sustainable long term new business relationships with confidence, tenacity and attention to detail that has led to considerable new business volumes.

  • An extensive contact base and C- level relationships.

  • Strong influencer and excellent in stakeholder management, able to effectively navigate on all organisational levels.

  • A strong change leader with negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent communication in English (both spoken and written).

  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for financial service industry preferred.

  • A true team-player.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
