Job description

​K3155 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a global finance partner for equipment and technology assets in their search for a Business Support Operations Specialist. You will cover day to day service desk queries, broader system change requests for improvement, the training of users on best practice system usage and be an expert stakeholder in business projects. Additionally, you will analyse data ensuring all user access is aligned with company policy & that systems are compliant with FCA guidance and GDPR.

Salary: Excellent salary, plus bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Greater London / Hertfordshire (Hybrid)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring and ensuring the optimal configuration (and use) of Operations systems and processes.

  • Participating in and leading projects. These will be dependent on upgrades to existing systems.

  • Managing incidents / solving problems.

  • Acting as a sparring partner for internal departments to ensure high quality standards.

  • Continuous optimization of operations systems and processes.

  • The management of daily tickets.

  • Weekly tasks on user access to systems and various reporting with quarterly attestation campaign.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • 2 years+ business systems experience preferably within the financial sector.

  • Robust analytical abilities, strong proven troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.

  • Quick to learn new programming languages.

  • Excellent customer service aspirations.

  • Technically inquisitive.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven Time Management skills with the ability to clearly prioritise balancing the needs of all stakeholders when dealing with multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

  • Have a flexible & positive attitude when under pressure.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
