Job description

​K3163 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a global finance partner for equipment and technology assets in their search for a Senior Relationship Manager, Technology Finance. You will be responsible for key financial stakeholder relationships with partners and to develop a sales plan in conjunction with their business. You will have excellent relationship management skills, good technical leasing knowledge with a good understanding of credit structuring skills and legal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the partners route to market and how you can help influence the use of finance within their value proposition to the end user customer.

  • Manage your pipeline of opportunities and collaborate with the regional team to drive finance penetration.

  • Deal structuring: Pricing and financial product modelling, contract structure and negotiation.

  • Advocate for partners and customers while maintaining strong risk / reward balance.

  • Prepare annual vendor reviews with local credit team.

  • Ensure all credit lines are monitored and the partner does not breach approved lines.

  • Work with local legal and operations to develop template documents that reduce requirement for legal review and reduce time to pay out deals.

  • Work with compliance on all audits.

  • Create and manage business plans for key accounts.

  • Set clear risk mitigation plan for each wholesale relationship and support regular audit of the portfolio.

  • Manage any channel conflicts and ensure partners are clear on finance value proposition.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • First-hand knowledge of leasing, or associated areas, such as selling leasing for vendors or partners.

  • Experience of building exceptional corporate business relationships with confidence and attention to detail.

  • In-depth experience of working on contract negotiations, including dealing with complex terms and conditions.

  • Strong credit structuring skills and legal knowledge.

  • Skilled in qualifying deals in order to focus on the most critical with the highest possibility of closure.

  • Wide-ranging knowledge of the technical market.

  • Proven communication skills at all levels in business, particularly senior and director level.

  • Experience of using social media, paired with comprehensive researching skills.

  • Track record of high productivity and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to deliver customer-focused solutions.

  • Experience at building business development strategy for business partners.

  • A true team-player.

  • Experience of working in a compliant and highly regulated environment.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
