​K3186 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading provider of Leasing and Commercial Finance/Asset Based Lending solutions in their search for a Business Development Director, responsible for day to day management of existing client relationships and developing new business/lending opportunities from current client portfolios; including on-boarding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acquire new clients via cross-collaboration with parent company, direct prospecting and introducers, whilst adhering to the moderate risk profile of the business.

• Manage end-to-end new client on-boarding process, including pricing, deal structuring, the credit application process, completion of KYC requirements and documentation execution.

• Maintain relationships with 1st and 2nd Line stakeholders within Lease and ABN AMRO Bank.

• Work independently, as well as part of a deal team.

• Develop and maintain a contact plan with all potential clients, colleagues and introducers.

• Work closely with the Deal Structurer.

• Targets will be aligned with group targets on revenue, profit, balance sheet growth, portfolio mix, risk and costs.

• Performance Management & Measurement are conducted in respect of output and behaviour.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Culturally well developed.

• Experienced in asset finance/leasing, with a good working knowledge of the market, it’s products and activities.

• Ability to generate leads from their established network.

• Credibility and gravitas to represent Lease in a professional manner.

• Highly motivated and ambitious, with an eagerness to learn and self-develop.

• Ambition to grow.

• Solution driven and can-do mentality.

• Good/strong Risk knowledge.

• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, manage internal/external communication effectively and manage key stakeholders.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
