K3194 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a well respected vendor and direct equipment Corporate Asset Finance broker which operates across a broad range of assets in their search for an Account Manager / Programme Manager with overall responsibility for managing a specific broker portfolio of already established Vendor Finance Programme accounts. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our partners and clients.
Your role will be critical to the continued success of the business, as you will be responsible for leading and supporting some of our most established Vendor Programmes.
Salary: To £38,000 with excellent bonus (OTE £85,000) and benefits. Location: UK, Hertfordshire
Maintain and further Develop Existing Vendor Finance Partner programmes.
Manage Client quoting and follow up the vendors end user customer introductions, proactively making telephone calls to discuss financing requirements, negotiate pricing and closing the sale.
Promote and sell the merits of asset finance and leasing, and negotiate on rate if required and/or refer to senior management to discuss and agree strategy.
Together with the Sales Director and/or Managing Director, you will undertake personal visits to the vendor / clients where required.
Be prepared to attend the relevant industry events with the aim of supporting relationships and maintaining industry awareness.
Regularly manage vendor / broker pipelines.
Ensure incoming proposals are promptly acted upon and submitted via the relevant CRM systems (Salesforce).
Manage Risk referrals, requesting relevant additional information direct from the client and act as the first point of contact for appealing underwriting decisions.
On a day to day basis build strong personal relationships and become the first internal point of vendor / broker partner contact for proposals.
Hit personal and team volume, income and margin targets.
Attend sales meetings where you will be required to review performance from the previous month & provide a forecast for the following month.
Manage outstanding approved deals to improve conversion rate via strong pipeline management.
Work closely with the sales support team internally, to ensure that all converted proposals are completed successfully.
At least 3 years' previous experience in a Account Management or Vendor Programme account management position within the leasing and asset finance industry, preferably working in the broker based soft asset equipment sector.
Strong customer care, communication and negotiation skills.
Hertfordshire based with the requirement to visit our vendors clients offices/and any such reasonable location within the UK as and when required.
In addition attendance at International industry based conferences may be required.
