New Leaf Search has partnered with a UK market-leading provider of flexible B2B funding solutions in its search for a Head of Vendor Sales.
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role is responsible for devising and delivering the sales strategy, driving optimum sales productivity, and ensuring performance meets required objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Lead, mentor and manage sales teams, ensuring headcount, training and development needs are met
Deliver agreed sales strategy and achieve business targets
Build and maintain new and existing vendor relationships alongside account managers
Identify, analyse and pursue new market opportunities
Represent the business professionally, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements
Network extensively within the industry to maintain a strong company and personal profile
Key Result Areas
Achievement of sales performance targets
Satisfaction levels of introducers and vendors
Strong, effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
Person Specification
10+ years industry experience, including 5+ years in a sales management role
Proven vendor finance expertise with strong funding source relationships
Adaptable and commercially astute in high-paced, complex situations
Skilled presenter, communicator and influencer, with ability to drive business strategy
Deep knowledge of industry regulations, legal and tax implications of products
Extensive industry network and strong reputation across the sector
Strong financial analysis skills, including interpretation of audited accounts
Collaborative management style with proven leadership ability
UK in-country experience essential
