K3561 - Business Development Manager, Commercial Vehicles - UK, London (Hybrid) - Asset Finance

New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading working capital solutions company in its search for a Business Development Manager – Commercial Vehicles, covering the UK and Western Europe.

Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, London (Hybrid).

The position has been created to capitalise on significant demand for Asset-as-a-Service and pay-per-use solutions, supporting companies seeking to finance working assets via innovative “Truck-as-a-Service” (TaaS) programmes for ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and lead acquisition and financing programmes for OEMs and large investment-grade businesses across Europe.

  • Leverage an existing network of senior decision-makers within large truck operators (250+ fleets).

  • Originate and structure large-scale commercial vehicle finance transactions, managing end-to-end relationship development.

  • Negotiate high-value, complex contracts with senior procurement, treasury, and sales teams.

  • Build strategic partnerships with major truck manufacturers, fleet operators, and investors.

  • Identify new opportunities to position the company as a leader in vehicle finance innovation.

  • Represent the company at European industry and procurement events.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to deliver bespoke finance solutions aligned to client needs.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in B2B asset finance or vehicle leasing within banks, captives, or OEMs.

  • Proven expertise in commercial vehicle finance and structuring complex, high-value contracts.

  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills at C-suite level.

  • Demonstrated success working with large fleets and investment-grade corporate clients.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of representing the business at international level.

  • Commercially strategic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
You will also require relevant in-country experience, without which, your application will not be considered.
