New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in its search for a Credit Manager, Middle Ticket.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to take ownership of mid-ticket credit decisioning, operating within a well-established, regulated asset finance platform.

The Role

The Credit Manager, Middle Ticket will be responsible for expert credit evaluation and underwriting across all business channels, with a primary focus on mid-ticket asset finance transactions. The role plays a key part in maintaining robust governance, consistent credit standards and commercially sound decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite mid-ticket asset finance proposals across secured and unsecured structures

  • Analyse financial statements, credit data, broker intelligence and market information

  • Produce clear, concise and commercially balanced credit recommendations

  • Exercise personal sanctioning authority and escalate transactions outside mandate

  • Assess collateral curve analysis and portfolio risk positioning

  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing transactions and credit facilities

  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policy, AML, TCF and data protection requirements

  • Support front-office teams with deal structuring, risk mitigation and presentation

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of credit processes and governance

About You

  • 3–5 years’ experience in credit analysis or underwriting within Asset Finance or Commercial Lending

  • Strong analytical capability with sound commercial judgement

  • Proven experience underwriting mid-ticket transactions

  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders

  • Strong Excel and Word skills

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
