New Leaf Search has partnered with a multi-national asset finance company in its search for a Business Development Manager – Materials Handling.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role focuses on developing new asset finance business across the UK, with a strong emphasis on the materials handling equipment sector. You will generate self-sourced opportunities, manage key client relationships and deliver structured asset finance solutions within an established, well-respected organisation.
Key Accountabilities
Develop new business opportunities within the materials handling sector
Build and manage long-term client and introducer relationships
Structure and negotiate asset finance transactions in line with credit and risk parameters
Maintain a strong pipeline and approval rates through effective pre-qualification
Work closely with Credit, Legal, Sales Support and Technology teams
Deliver regional sales and product training to drive penetration
Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory and risk policies
Support senior management with strategy and regional initiatives
Person Specification
5+ years’ experience in external leasing sales within materials handling
Strong knowledge of asset finance structures and risk considerations
Proven track record of new business development and deal execution
Confident negotiating complex transactions and legal documentation
Commercial, self-motivated and comfortable working to targets
UK market experience essential
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
