K3597 – Commercial Manager – UK, East Midlands (Hybrid) – Asset Finance

New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading vendor finance provider in its search for a Commercial Manager.

The Role

The Commercial Manager reports to the Regional Sales Manager and plays a critical role in ensuring commercial efficiency, dealer satisfaction and alignment with the organisation’s growth and operational excellence objectives.

Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, you will implement and deliver the UK commercial strategy, optimising performance across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, lead and develop the Internal Sales Executives.
• Lead, develop and inspire Sales Support, Commercial Support and Commercial Finance teams
• Ensure Internal Sales Executives manage deals end-to-end from quotation through to payout readiness
• Drive Internal Sales pipeline management and performance against allocated dealer targets
• Provide coverage and continuity for Account Managers to ensure a joined-up, customer-first approach
• Complete regular quality checks on deal submissions and identify training needs
• Champion digital adoption and manage change impact across the Commercial function
• Deliver accurate reporting across margin, NBV and customer experience metrics
• Own customer service performance and implement corrective actions where required
• Drive local execution of strategic initiatives aligned to regional priorities
• Deliver against advance × margin targets for both company and dealer portfolios
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Transformation on process improvements

Candidate Profile

• 5–7+ years’ experience in a commercial, sales operations or leadership role (ideally with Stocking Finance experience)
• Proven people leadership experience (Internal Sales. Sales Support or similar teams)
• Strong commercial, analytical and performance-management capability
• Experience within Financial Services, Asset Finance, Leasing or Vendor Finance
• Comfortable operating in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
