Supporting Sarcoma UK in 2026: Honouring Conor Dafydd.

At New Leaf Search, our Community Pledge reflects who we are as a business. Beyond delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients, we are committed to making a meaningful contribution to causes that matter deeply to our team.

Each year, we select a charity partner that aligns with our values of integrity, empathy and long-term commitment. For 2026, that partnership carries particular personal significance.

Our 2026 Charity Partner: Sarcoma UK

This year, we are proud to support Sarcoma UK in memory of someone close to us, Conor Dafydd, a young adult who passed away in December 2024. Conor was warm, kind, and compassionate, with such mature humanity, and a wicked sense of humour. He had a unique understanding of people, a rare gift for someone so young but not surprising – he had shown wisdom from a such a young age and has shown us how to live without him.

Sarcoma is a rare form of cancer affecting bones and soft tissues and, because of its rarity, awareness remains limited. By supporting Sarcoma UK, we hope to contribute to raising awareness, supporting those affected, and helping to drive research and understanding of this devastating disease.

Why Sarcoma UK

Because sarcoma is rare, it does not always receive the level of awareness, funding or recognition that more common cancers attract. Sarcoma UK works to change this — funding vital research, providing trusted information, and supporting individuals and families navigating diagnosis and treatment.

By partnering with Sarcoma UK, we aim to play a small but meaningful role in advancing awareness, improving understanding, and supporting those affected.

Our Commitment

Throughout the year, the New Leaf Search team will be engaging in fundraising initiatives and advocacy efforts in support of Sarcoma UK. This commitment is not only about raising funds, but about raising awareness and standing alongside a community that deserves greater visibility and support.

We are honoured to support Sarcoma UK in 2026 and to do so in a way that reflects the compassion, humanity and strength that define both our firm and the memory of Conor.
