J2795 - Our client is seeking a Head of Agriculture to deliver transformational growth. You will implement a growth strategy that strikes the right balance between broker, vendor and dealer introductory sources, whilst earning a margin and ROE which reflects strong service excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of internal agriculture account managers.
Management of external agriculture field-based account and relationship managers ensuring line reports are fully compliant and trained to effectively carry out their role.
Achieve Agricultural target objectives in volume, margin and income and other objectives as set by the directors as required.
Budget responsibility for sales performance – retail and wholesale.
Strategic Agriculture channel development responsibility.
Regular communication and contact with introduces/dealers.
Provide regular updates of market/performance to senior management.
Provide training to channel staff and devise training to dealers, brokers and vendors.
Produce regular management information on channel performance.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Thorough knowledge of the agricultural industry.
Thorough knowledge of the asset finance industry and products offered.
Significant experience in sales and marketing management.
Ability to lead internal and external teams.
Ability to communicate well both verbally, in writing and through formal presentation.
Willingness to work both from office and home base and undertake significant travel within the UK mainland.
Ability to think strategically within agricultural sector and implement strategic decisions successfully.
Work cross functionally within the business to harness the end user experience and share best practise.
