Job description

J2831 - Our client is seeking a Vendor Account Manager, Public Sector to identify opportunities to generate funded business from their vendor's Public Sector and end-user relationships. You will work effectively on those opportunities from inception to conclusion, resulting in the achievement of targeted origination volumes & gross margin on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis.

Salary: c£65,000 with £120,000 OTE plus excellent benefits. Location: UK, Flexible but Mids preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achievement of targeted Volume & Margin; monthly, quarterly, annually.

  • Relationship management of vendor Public Sector sales teams & management.

  • Transaction management of identified customers & their portfolios.

  • Interaction with colleagues & leadership to win targeted opportunities.

  • Preparation of detailed reviews for complex transactions and projects.

  • Preparation of thoroughly researched proposals & credit applications.

  • Build rapport and working relationships across the business.

  • Close and regular liaison with colleagues in Operations & Finance.

  • Support review of client and vendor documentation as required.

  • Support of any escalated client or vendor collections issues.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar and relevant role is essential.

  • IT finance experience beneficial.

  • Very strong Relationship Management.

  • Expert in Contractual, Structural, Commercial & Pricing dynamics.

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience working in the Public Sector.

  • Understanding of Credit, Frameworks & associated risk assessment.

  • Ability to interpret complex inputs & create simple outputs.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • High level of numeracy and financial acumen.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
