J2836 - Our client is seeking a Sales Manager, Legal Profession Finance, for marketing unsecured financial products and services through direct prospecting and or intermediary channels, such as dealers, brokers and distribution agencies for the legal profession. You will be driven to achieve a sales target through sourcing new loans for all existing, old and brand new clients as well as manage a small sales team. You will also assist in developing marketing strategies and implementing targeting programs.
Salary: To £65,000 with £100,000 OTE plus excellent benefits. Location: UK, Dorset, Poole
Drive the performance of the direct sales and broker sales staff to achieve the targeted new business levels.
Managing the Account team of 3 / 4 people.
Sell and market financing products directly to clients or via intermediary channels.
Create, monitor and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales pipeline.
Liaise closely with product specialists and product development teams.
May oversee some client relationships an provide account services.
Work closely with Relationship Managers to generate additional sales among existing clients.
Build and Maintain new and existing relationships with introductory sources.
Achieve allocated targets of new deals, volume and income by building and maintaining a level of new enquiries, attending networking events and identify and secure opportunities for new business and contacts.
Conduct sales meetings with perspective clients / introducers when required.
Complete risk templates for sanction of the facility, chasing outstanding enquiries and paperwork on deals, maintain CRM system, attend sales team meetings.
Achieve the prescribed number of calls per day.
Develop knowledge and understanding of the asset based finance industry including all financial products and services, competitors, introducers, risks, client industry, market and sectors.
Proven sales experience in a similar industry is essential - telesales.
Previous experience as a Line Manager is also essential.
This is a predominantly office based role and you must have hands on experience of mentoring office based sales staff.
Experience of the finance sector or financing within of the legal profession is preferred but a background in selling mortgages, retail finance sales and general telesales will be considered.
Ability to negotiate at MD and C-Level.
Full driver's license.
