Job description

​J2856 - Our client is seeking an Internal Account Manager to work alongside external and internal Sales, as well as Risk to create, build and maintain excellent relationships with partners to deliver best in class pre sales support in order maximise finance volume and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain existing customer / partner programmes in terms of relationship and business volume.

  • Manage and update sales pipelines and conduct regular reviews on conversion rates.

  • Prepare incentive and performance reports and distribute for sign off & payout.

  • Administrate finance deals by managing documentation, partner training, audits, credit lines. invoice checks etc.

  • the Co-ordinate Vendor subsidy requirements and any issues with payment of invoices.

  • Ensure back end processes are in places and adhered to.

  • Ensure proposals are promptly acted upon and submitted with considered and strong commercial support.

  • Manage risk declines and act as first point of contact for appealing decisions.

  • Hit personal and team volume, income and margin targets

  • Prepare and submit residual value applications for approval.

  • Discuss extension/return options with customers at expiry.

  • Prepare programme summaries and annual credit and documentation reviews.

  • Organise new business deals for payout & to manage the timely and efficient response to ad–hoc queries.

  • Responsible for liaising between customer, dealers and vendors and internally with sales, customer services, risk, collections & finance on any general queries.

  • Attend regular internal sales and marketing meetings for the channel and occasionally with external relationships.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • 2 years+ experience in sales support function is desirable

  • Candidates may also be considered with asset finance and leasing experience from other departments who are wanting to develop their career in a more customer facing type role.

  • Excellent customer care skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good, proven negotiation skills.

  • Strong credit skills to present deals and challenge referrals and declines.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Good time management, organisational skills and ability to prioritise.

  • 2 years+ experience in sales support function is desirable

  • Highly numerate and practical problem solving capabilities.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
