J2895 - Our client is seeking a Relationship Manager, Hard Assets to build and maintain excellent relationships with partners to deliver best in class programme delivery whilst maximizing finance volumes and profitability. This field based role will have contact with both internal and external customers, therefore the ability to present, negotiate and build relationships and to be able to prioritise work will be key to success.

Develop and maintain new and existing partner programmes in terms of relationship and business volume.
Promote and sell point of sale services.
Proactively make customer visits & and telephone calls to end user customers to discuss financing requirements and ultimately close the sale.
Manage and sell pricing policy and negotiate on rate with allocated vendor accounts.
Conduct regular reviews on vendor accounts and maintain vendor up to date programmes summaries and procedures.
Ensure proposals are promptly acted upon and submitted with considered and strong commercial support as appropriate.
Manage risk declines and act as a contact for appealing decisions.
Hit personal and team volume, income and margin targets and other objectives as required including the obtaining of new vendor accounts.
On specific programmes prepare and submit residual value applications for approval.
Maintain excellent relationships with partners and customers to generate required sales volume and provide support in terms of system training, paperwork, ad-hoc queries.
Undertake pro-active marketing of existing channel customers and dealers for repeat business.
Attend regular sales and marketing meetings for the channel and with external relationships.
Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a sales account management position within the leasing / finance industry.
Knowledge and experience in construction, transportation and materials handling and engineering industries would be preferable.
A good understanding of the financial service requirements to support partner customers.
Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good credit skills to present deals and challenge referrals and declines.
Ability to use a financial calculator or tool proficiently.
Good time management, organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
