​J2915 - Our client is seeking an Area Finance Manager to canvass, develop and capture quality new business and SME customers for the company in line with agreed objectives. You will demonstrate high energy and motivation and be able to thrive in a target orientated environment. In addition, you need to be a customer orientated individual who excels in providing their clients with exceptional service.

Salary: £50,000 - £85,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Flexible (England, Wales or Scotland) (Remote).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead activity to generate, retain and grow customer and introducer relationships.

• Demonstrate ownership, initiative and sound commercial judgement in the handling and execution of financing opportunities.

• Demonstrate awareness and respect for operational and commercial controls within the business, as well as strict compliance with market regulation.

• Lead the development of specific strategies and initiatives to support generation of new business and delivery against individual objectives.

• Support the delivery of projects and initiatives designed to grow and develop the business.

• Ensure compliance with all company and group procedures and policies.

• Ensure timely completion of training.

• Maintain and build working relationships with key stakeholders within the business and across the Group of companies.

• Support and collaborate with team members and the wider business as appropriate.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• A minimum of 5 years’ Asset Finance experience.

• A financial services professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

• A proven track record in a sales role, with a preference for Direct sales experience.

• Ability to adapt, learn and execute, whilst demonstrating sound commercial judgement.

• Ability to manage time and adapt to balance a variety of tasks and competing priorities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - capable of engaging customers and colleagues, as well as working across functions to support delivery.

• Ability to work under pressure and to stretching objectives.

​We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
