J2960 - Our client is seeking a Lease Funding & Operations Manager to maximize the leasing potential of the direct sales portfolio by analysing, planning and implementing leasing strategy. You will also be responsible for the productivity and budgetary performance of the leasing business.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus discretionary bonus and excellent benefits. Location: UK, Herts / N London / Beds / Bucks (Hybrid).
Own the leasing operations function to include systems, processes, training.
Simplify and rebuild process and Management Information.
Manage the Lease team to deliver best financial outcome.
Direct the daily activities of the team in accordance with organization policies and standards.
Manage the overall customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to refresh, renew and extend customer leases.
Compile and use data to target, attract and finalise leases with appropriate Sales Managers and Customers where necessary by convincingly presenting benefits of Financial Services.
Represent the Company to existing and prospective customers, brokers, banks, finance providers and other outside parties in a positive and professional manner.
Lead and manages financial instruments (Leases and Funding); collaborate with all stakeholders to drive business and develops new opportunities.
Understand the market lease rates and funding mechanisms within the UK marketplace and develop strategies and proposal to ensure that the financial offering is always comparable with competitors, with the goal competitive edge.
Provide budget re/forecast information to ensure that the budget realistically reflects projected leasing activity.
Communicate regularly with all parties involved in a project – sponsor, stakeholders, team members, etc. Ensure accomplishments, issues, and status are clear and concise
Ensure that all Group Accounting Policies and Process are kept up to date with UK Legislation and are compliant with internal Accounting Standards.
Responsible for ensuring that all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service and be compliant with standards.
5+ years year track record of leasing ground-up, high-profile mixed-use and/or lifestyle projects – will need a deal sheet verifying annual production.
1 to 3 years Management experience ideally within Leasing.
In-depth knowledge of deal structures and lease terminology
Excellent negotiation, closing, interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
Presentation Skills: Is effective in a variety of formal presentation settings; commands attention and has executive presence/impact.
An extensive network of leasing company and third-party broker contacts in the mixed-use and lifestyle sectors
Strong grasp of modern technology and the ability to utilise same in day-to-day job activities.
First class organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
