​J2968 - Our client is seeking a Head of Business Development. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a forward-thinking, dynamic, and global business. You will ideally be a high performing Business Development Manager within the Financial Services industry looking for their next move. You will be an inspirational Leader to your direct reports, with Digitalization, Business Development & Project Management in your DNA. Salary: £80,000 - £115,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Thames Valley area or NW Eng.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting directly into our CEO, you will have the drive and determination to succeed, and to bring new ideas and innovation to life.

  • You will own and work closely with the Leadership Team, to define, document and execute upon the strategic direction of the business.

  • You will be a seasoned ‘hunter’ identifying new markets and developing strategic plans and/or initiatives to drive our ongoing growth strategy.

  • Project management is key for this role, the ability to inspire and instil accountability in others to deliver.

  • Use your knowledge and growth mindset to make digitalisation a reality.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • You will be an experienced, innovative, and passionate Head of Business Development, someone who is an excellent communicator/ stakeholder management within a Matrix organization.

  • Your previous demonstrable Financial Services background will stand you in good stead to understand and deliver business objectives.

  • Digitalisation is a natural curiosity for you, identifying ways to implement and further develop this area within the portfolio.

  • Coach, mentor, motivate and manage on a cross-functional basis with engagement across geographical and cultural boundaries. 

  • Ability to influence, deliver and drive change through others and work autonomously in a time-sensitive environment.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
