​J3004 - Our client is seeking a Vendor Manager to manage and further establish vendor relationships within Agriculture finance. You will ideally have an agricultural vendor or captive background, but talented internal sales individuals looking for their next step in an external sales role will also be considered.

Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK Flexible, (Remote)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and further establish vendor relationships.

• Develop existing vendor relationships.

• Develop new vendor relationships within approved industry sectors.

• Achieve sales targets laid down by budgets.

• Manage and complete individual transactions including preparation of credit applications.

• Develop company profile within a specific industry market place.

• Compile and complete customer/vendor annual vendor review documentation.

• Support and assist in other non specific sales opportunities.

• Develop and maintain accurate reports of vendor/personal sales activity.

• Support other sales team members as required - deal sign ups / holiday cover / different sector knowledge.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• A Level, Tertiary qualification desirable.

• Three years experience in relevant industry/market.

• Proven track record of success within specific marketplace.

• Ability to work at all levels of vendor organisations.

• Experience gained in UK finance company or similar organisation.

• Strong MS Office skills, ability to work remotely.

• Clean full UK drivers licence.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
