J3024 - Our client is seeking a Vendor Business Partner (AWP, Construction, Industrial) to use your skills and knowledge of financial services to support a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms across the UK region and operating as part of a successful global team. You will work directly with the sales teams coordinating financing sales activities and driving finance penetration and high margin incremental sales volume across the spectrum of customers.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Flexible (Remote)
Establish and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
Develop and execute strategies and tactical action plans to achieve or exceed sales goals.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and lenders.
Understand and identify customer needs through a consultative & proactive sales approach and building strong relationships with customers.
Collect market intelligence and competitions’ offerings and propose proactive direction / program(s) to lead the market.
Present Quarterly Account Plans to Leadership Team on Key Customers
Gather credit information on customers, prepare credit package, and submit to Credit & Preferred Funding Source(s).
Collaborate with local and regional teams on financial activity.
Present finance programs to customers and Sales Team.
Develop financial training tools and conduct sales training.
Evaluate success by measuring Finance Penetration and Incremental Sales.
Captive or Vendor Financing preferred in Aerial or related industries.
Ability to work within a multi-functional team.
Ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics OR qualified by experience.
Demonstrable experience in sales, asset finance/leasing or operations.
Candidate must have a good understanding of lease and loan structuring and credit underwriting policies and procedures.
Experience of working both with dealers/channel partners and end customers.
MS applications, Super Trump, QlikView and SalesForce.
Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
Proficient using financial calculators and structuring lease and finance transactions.
Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Ability to travel (company car provided).
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
