Job description

​J3060 - Our client is seeking a New Business Team Leader to lead, motivate and develop their team and assist the Head of New Business with the general running of the department. You will also ensure that contracts and other documentation required to make payments are correct and in line with approvals and policies. You will build excellent relationships with internal and external customers to ensure that excellent levels of service are provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process deals for Payout by ensuring the workload is spread evenly across the team to maximize efficient use of resource and to deliver market leading service levels.

  • Take responsibility for ensuring SLAs are archived.

  • Investigate and create Improvement Forms as appropriate and liaise with Compliance to ensure resolution and addition training where required.

  • Second check deals prepared for payout by other New Business Co-ordinators.

  • Perform a reconciliation of agreements to be paid out before passing to Finance to run payment extract.

  • Ensure all documentation within agreement packs are in order.

  • Assist in the monitoring and delivery of key SLAs and KPIs.

  • Understand and be able to deliver reports to key stakeholders around the business

  • Be pro-active in making recommendations for ongoing development of systems and processes.

  • Conduct team member one to one’s and appraisals.

  • Provide training for new members of the team.

  • Ensure the cross training plan is achieved such that workload is spread evenly across different teams.

  • Identify development needs within team and take appropriate actions to address and/or coach.

  • Manage resource levels and team coverage at key times,.

  • Monitor sickness absences to ensure reported correctly.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Good time, planning and project management and organisation skills.

  • An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines under own initiative.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
