Job description

​J3061 - Our client is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to work with the Operations Department providing Operational support in all areas of Contract Activation and Administration.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Greater London / Surrey (Hybrid).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take over and check the files handed over by Sales Support Team and activate the contracts in the system.

  • Follow up the Direct Debit implementation both with the bank and in the system.

  • Deal with customer queries either directly or by identifying and passing on to the relevant business area within the company.

  • Control the payment of the maintenance to relevant suppliers and the corresponding re-invoicing to the customers

  • Issue various addendums to contracts, depending in the requirements and approvals.

  • Monitor and update document-related, system-related collateral linked to financing contracts, and update public record, if required.

  • Scan and archive documents related to the contracts generated by the Operations Department.

  • Complete / lead various projects as assigned by Manager.

  • Issue invoices and copy lease documentation to customers as part of the post payment process and as part of the ongoing life cycle of the leasing transactions through to end of lease and secondary periods.

  • Prepare the resale contracts for the repossessed assets.

  • Organise the registration, cancellation of the assets, at the property transfer.

  • Prepare and send replies to requests from clients and to properly follow up the requests related to early settlements (partial or total), penalty interest, anticipated termination fees etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Previous Experience in Asset Finance / Leasing company essential.

  • Detailed Knowledge of leasing Products, Leasing calculations and Invoicing rules essential.

  • Extensive previous experience of Lease Administration Systems and associated interfaces.

  • Good working Knowledge of MS Office Products including Excel and Word.

  • Basic understanding of fundamental Lease accounting.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
