Job description

​J3136 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a prestigious banking group in their search for a Transformation Lead, to provide local and strategic transformation initiatives. You will support the creation, testing and deployment of transformation initiatives across the business to ensure growth and an enhanced customer journey. You will provide effective communications across the business to support a culture of growth mindset within a fast-paced environment to ensure achievement of agreed outcomes.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000+ plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Flexible (Hybrid)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with the Transformation Manager and the wider SME Lending teams to support end to end collaboration and actions to enhance the service excellence.

  • Support the transformational change initiatives through liaison with the business to gather the requirements, the subsequent creation of user stories and the completion of UAT and regression testing activity, ensuring testing is completed fully, efficiently and in line with the user stories and the business requirements.

  • Manage incidents as they arise and use initiative to identify areas for improvement.

  • Provide user training, support, advice and feedback across processes and systems in collaboration with the wider SME Lending teams.

  • Utilise MI data to drive root cause analysis to enable actions to be taken to enhance service propositions across the business.

  • Ensure efficiency gains through improvement activities are defined, logged, and tracked to support budget benefits.

  • Work closely and effectively with colleagues to update and maintain system documentation, including testing and defect identification.

  • In collaboration with managers across the SME Lending business support/deliver continuous improvement activity to enhance the current culture of change through deployment of tactical solutions driven by the people.

  • Be a positive agent of change by embracing the growth mindset agenda through engaging interactions and feedback sessions.

  • Initiate and maintain communications with business and support function personnel involved in assigned projects.

  • Provide general support to the Transformation Manager in their duties as appropriate.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Detailed knowledge of Asset Finance operations and core processes.

  • Good knowledge of Asset Finance policies and regulation.

  • A focused proactive approach, self-motivated and able to acquire new skills and grasp concepts quickly.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and have a flexible approach towards working requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, written and oral communication skills, including the confidence to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the Business.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure, to use initiative and to recognise and act upon priorities.

  • Willing and able to adopt a flexible approach as required, to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously and meet changing deadlines.

  • Analytical focus and attention to detail.

  • As a minimum, to be proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to successfully interface with business users, IT, and third-parties to determine functional requirements. 

  • Prince 2 qualifications.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
