J3141 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a rapidly growing financial services group in their search for an office based Business Development Manager with responsibility for developing new business throughout your region, across a variety of products and solutions. This role will suit a highly energised, and self-motivated individual with a proven track record of success in the UK finance and leasing Industry (developing sales aid buisness; soft assets). You will have experience in a similar role, can come in and hit the ground running, and are a team player who will fit in with the culture within the company.
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Birmingham
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Present the financial product set to prospective new clients.
Develop a personal pipeline, and deliver against a personal sales target.
Develop long-term relationships with prospective customers .
Present quality finance applications to in-house underwriters, or to funders, in a coherent, honest and complete manner.
Follow up on regular marketing activity and take appropriate action in order to continually increase new business and improve quality and service levels.
Work toward agreed KPI’s and behaviours.
Engage with regional groups, businesses, introducers, and individuals to help to grow brand awareness.
Help to identify niche opportunities in the region for further growth.
Work within, and champion use of, group CRM.
Work closely with line management to deliver the agreed sales strategy.
Represent the brand in line with group values.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Proven sales / new business development ability.
Asset Finance and Leasing experienced.
Highly energised and self-motivated.
Experience in a similar role with the ability to hit the ground running.
Team player.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
