​J3162 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a specialist lending solutions provider in their search for a UK Sales Director for their SME business. You will either be a seasoned leader within Asset Finance and Leasing with credibility and gravitas to manage a diversely experienced sales team, or, a proven high-flyer, ready to make a step up.

Salary: £125,000 -£145,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Flexible Location (Remote).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help achieve business goals by leading and developing a diverse sales team.

• Embed a customer centric culture and drive the team's  skill set, quality of work and reputation.

• Maximise business and volume growth alongside an appropriate risk profile and an acceptable yield.

• Deliver sales growth across several business lines at an appropriate yield for the group whilst ensuring risk stays within expected provision parameters.

• Lead broker, vendor, internal sales and invoice finance teams in a forward looking, market leading business proposition.

• Ensure stakeholders across the business understand the development plans of the division and respect the growth and leadership across the team.

• Embrace technology and ensure that brand stays at the forefront of innovation in a changing SME market.

• Embrace and developing new products and opportunities as they emerge in the market.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Ability to lead from the front.

• Ability to communicate clearly across all areas of the business accompanied by an expertise in SME Lending/Asset Finance that reflects certainty in leadership to those around you.

• Ability to develop strategies for growth and to take the business forwards within the framework of a regulated bank organisation are essential.

• Problem solving and mentoring via day to day activity are also target skills.

• A high level of credit understanding is expected such that transactions can be discussed professionally with the underwriting function.

• A broad knowledge of the core sectors the business operates in (with the ability to take on new sectors) is also key.

• Ability to present competently and professionally both internally and externally.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
