​J3184 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in their search for a Paralegal. You will involve working cohesively as part of a small team, assisting the In-House Lawyer and Head of Legal with legal risk management duties; including support on transaction and contract management, dispute resolution, legal awareness training, precedents, robust legal file governance and escalation of issues to the Head of Legal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with document management system creation, implementation and operation.

• Maintain database of contract templates.

• Create and/or maintain policies around document approvals, template management and document retention.

• Assist Head of Legal with approval invoices related to externally instructed files, taking account of budget requirements and Company Legal panel guidelines.

• Create and manage the Legal team intranet page.

• Perform general administrative support for the Legal team.

• Assist in the preparation, negotiation and execution of non-disclosure agreements.

• Instruct external counsel and acting as the first point of contact under the supervision of Head of Legal and/or In-House Lawyer on externally instructed files.

• Manage customer complaints.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law and/or Legal Practice Course to a good standard

• Experience of working within the asset finance industry is desirable, but not essential.

• Previous experience as a Paralegal within a corporate/commercial firm or an in-house environment is required.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
