J3203 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in their search for a Wholesale Account Manager. This is a 12 - 18 mth FTC and you are likely to have had a minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a technology field sales role within the asset finance industry, or, have asset finance / leasing experience within another business function with the ambition to step up to a sales role. You will be responsible for monitoring vendor KPIs, acceptance /conversion rates and profitability.
Salary: Excellent. Location: UK, Greater London / Surrey (Hybrid).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience in proactively making telephone calls to Resellers and end user customers to discuss financing requirements and ultimately close the sale of the financing will be highly desirable.
This is primarily an externally based role and the candidate will be required to be a self-starter and motivated to develop new relationships with existing vendors, Distributors, local Software editor and Microsoft both independent or vendor’s affiliated.
You will be required to be in the office several days a week to complete administration and build relationship with internal stakeholders, work collaboratively with Credit and Risk department as well as the Payout team to successfully structure processes and procedure to facilitate business.
You will work alongside the Wholesale sales manager and be required to drive sales opportunities from the vendors and facilitate the introduction of opportunities to the sales support team in the office.
It is expected that you originate and structure the relationship with vendors by selling the benefit of existing client tools such as Sprint and Assist and positioning client USPs.
Handles framework agreement signing and if required; introduces new vendors to processes in order to facilitate business.
This will include managing the first proposals personally to help build a strong and trusty relationship with Partners.
Works collaboratively with the Sales Support function.
Monitor vendor KPIs, acceptance / conversion rates and profitability.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Self-motivated, articulate and professional.
Good asset finance product knowledge and basic documentation skills (as a minimum).
Demonstrates strong sales skills and has the ability to close transactions.
Full driving License.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain business relationships with vendor partners .
Ability to listen to the customer’s needs and then deliver credible solutions.
Proven negotiation skills
Strong credit skills to present deals and challenge referrals and declines.
Ability to price transactions using the Assist or Spring and HP17 or equivalent.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Good time management, organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
Proven experience in a sales function.
Highly numerate and practical problem solving capabilities.
IT skills to include word/excel/ and ability to learn new IT products.
Experience and comfortable in participating in external customer meetings.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
