J3214 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in their search for an Implementation Manager on a 12 mth FTC. You will have experience of working in teams that design, build and deliver systems and applications using on premise or cloud-based architecture. You will be comfortable talking with stakeholders including third party vendors to help them express their needs and communicate these as requirements to both business and technical stakeholders. Possessing an analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills, you will be able to take a task and see it through to completion, involving relevant roles as appropriate.

Leading and managing a Change Management Board to ensure version and release management principals are maintained with code deployments and ensuring systems stability.
Co-ordinating the build and maintenance of systems environments through the SDLC co-ordinating requirements from a variety of technical stakeholders i.e., Development, Systems & Technical Architects, Testing and Production Support.
Managing communications across numerous project workstreams ensuring efficient access to environments through managing and informing staff of systems availability.
Establish and maintain detailed implementation plans, ensuring plans are aligned with the overall schedule and escalate risks and delays as appropriate.
Liaise with appropriate Project / Workstream Leads and support functions to establish detailed operational requirements.
Conduct regular detailed operational implementation plan reviews with the appropriate Project / Workstream Leads and ensure any changes to not impact the projects key objectives.
Ensure timely escalation any potential issues and risks to the Project Manager.
Liaise with the L&D team to ensure the appropriate levels of training are planned and delivered.
Creating, managing, and delivering the migration activity of internal and external users.
Owning and developing and assuring delivery of the cutover approach, plan, processes, and timings (go live).
Sound Project Management experience managing client facing, software implementation projects for large-scale customers.
Experience of project managing multiple concurrent software implementation projects, for different clients both external and internal deliveries.
Have a methodical work approach, strong prioritization skills and excellent attention to detail, ensuring the quality of the deliverables.
Experience of the SDLC using Waterfall and ideally with experience of Agile approaches.
Be able to understand software architecture and be able to pick up technical concepts and communicate with technical staff (platform is built in .Net / Microsoft stack).
Understanding and experience of data quality management and data migration activities, where data will need to be deployed to various test and production environments.
Effective communicator and able to articulate data information in both simple terms to business users and discuss complex logic to technical / development staff.
Working knowledge of databases relational and object oriented.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Proven technical documentation skills.
Significant experience as a technical Implementation Manager of IT systems preferably in a financial services industry.
Produces compelling and effective presentations and written communications.
Highly organized and Strong outcome focus.
Able to use Microsoft Project and Jira to plan and coordinate implementations.
