J3216 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a global leader in construction lift equipment ranging from Aerial Work Platforms to Material Lifts, in their search for a Financial Services Business Partner. You will drive finance penetration and high margin incremental sales volume across the spectrum of AWP customers. You will be to develop and execute strategies and tactical action plans to achieve objectives and coordinate financing sales activities across the DACH Region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) whilst working directly with the AWP Sales Team.
Salary: €90,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: Germany (Flexible Location) (Remote)
Establish and maintain strong relationships with DACH AWP customers.
Understand and identify customer needs through a consultative & proactive sales approach.
Collect market intelligence and competitions’ offerings and propose proactive direction / program(s) to lead the market.
Present Quarterly Account Plans to Leadership Team on Key Customers.
Gather credit information on customers, prepare credit package, and submit to Credit & Preferred Funding Source(s).
Collaborate with local and regional teams on financing activities.
Present finance programs to customers and Sales Team.
Develop training tools for Sales Team to broaden finance knowledge & conduct Sales Training.
Evaluate success by measuring Finance Penetration and Incremental Sales.
Attend industry trade shows. Accompany product sale team/dealer to present and sell the benefits of using financial services as a solution to finance needs.
Preparation and delivery of timely reporting to management.
Constant focus on improving efficiency & automation using IT systems and any digital tools available from Preferred Funding Source(s).
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers and funding partners.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or pertinent degree.
5+ years of experience in sales, in leasing/asset finance or operations.
5+ years of working both with dealers/channel partners and end customers.
Ability to travel - 30% travel(company car provided).
Captive or Vendor Financing preferred in Aerial or related industries.
Candidate must have a good understanding of lease and loan structuring and credit underwriting policies and procedures.
Self-motivated, high energy and positive attitude.
Ability to work within a multi-functional team.
Ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities.
Proficient using financial calculators and structuring lease and finance transactions.
Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.
Strong Negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Language Requirements: German & English are essential.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
