Job description

​J3236 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in their search for an Asset Management Executive to assist with the setting of residual values for leased assets and to manage, monitor, and mitigate this RV risk through the life of the portfolio. The core aspects of the role are to assist with Asset Valuation; Portfolio Management; End of Term Operations; Remarketing; and Oversight and Control.

Salary: Excellent salary plus bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Greater London / Surrey (Hybrid)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage department shared email inboxes, ensuring all queries are read, categorised, and responded to within SLA.

  • Provide and process Early Settlement quotes.

  • Negotiate, agree, and process public sector lease extensions, with guidance from the Asset Management Team Manager.

  • Assist with asset return processes, including asset inspection and recharge of any items outside of agreed return conditions and asset logistics, data wiping, secure storage, and refurb.

  • Support third party remarketing channels.

  • Provide support and responses to Customers, Remarketing Partners and internal colleagues with general Asset Management enquiries.

  • Ensure that operational tools, systems, and spreadsheets used within the department are kept up to date to ensure accurate cycle time and progress reporting.

  • Ensure the AMS database is maintained accurately

  • Provide general administrative support, as required.

  • Provide project support when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Working knowledge of wide range of asset classes.

  • Self-motivated with very strong organisational skills and the ability to work reliably, accurately, and independently.

  • A good problem solver, knowing when to involve others to provide advice and guidance.

  • Commercial acuity and negotiation.

  • Comfortable with adopting and driving change and innovation.

  • Articulate and persuasive oral and written communication.

  • Ability to deliver strong customer service.

  • Comfortable working under pressure.

  • Professional and clear manner.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.

Applicants will only be considered with relevant in-country experience.
