J3242 - New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in its search for an Asset Manager, Hard Assets. You will help build profitable growth and manage the maturing leases within their RV-bearing portfolio. The focus will be on hard assets including transportation, construction, industrial and agricultural asset types. You will set residual values for leased assets and manage, monitor and mitigate RV risk through the life of the portfolio.

Set RVs manage associated risk through the portfolio for hard assets to maximise asset profitability and minimise losses.
Work with Vendor partners to agree lease extensions.
Work with Vendor partners to re-market assets.
Assist the Sales teams through the provision of RV's for Operating Leases within SLA.
Provide asset advice and guidance on depreciation curves, balloon and buyback figures and general asset knowledge.
Ensure all Operating Lease transactions are approved via E-Sign or, where appropriate, by auto-sign off and that there is an auditable record.
Maximise RV realisation and mitigate losses as fully as possible through effective and proactive Remarketing. Be aware of returning assets up to 6 months in advance of return.
Ensure effective asset return process working with the Asset Management Team Manager, including asset inspection and recharge of any items outside of agreed return conditions; and asset logistics and refurb (if required).
Support circular economy activity and NBV growth to allow the sale of used assets through vendor partners with accompanying finance packages.
Support with wider team and business initiatives and projects, as required.
Understand, comply with, and adhere to all internal SLAs, policies, rules and procedures and external regulatory requirements.
In-depth knowledge of and experience with a wide range of hard asset classes.
Know how to develop knowledge of unfamiliar or new asset types quickly and comprehensively.
Demonstrate understanding of balancing risk and reward in RV-based decisions.
Commercial acuity and negotiation.
Experience of adopting and driving change and innovation.
Articulate and persuasive oral and written communication.
Ability to deliver high quality service and develop team members.
Comfortable working under pressure.
Professional and clear manner.
Requirement to balance time between home working, time spent in the office and in the field with Vendors, Customers, Remarketing Partners and connected with the external market.
